The Democratic Plan for a Secure Future

As Democrats, we take action and solve problems today in order to create greater opportunities tomorrow. We all want a secure and prosperous future for North Carolina. We want our children to receive a great education in a safe environment. We want to work hard in good jobs for a fair wage. We want access to quality and affordable medical care and health insurance for all North Carolinians, young and old. We want tax dollars to be spent wisely by a government that works for her citizens. The Plan for a Secure Future addresses the major challenges facing our state – and it makes sure that no one is left behind as North Carolina moves forward.

As Democrats, we have a Plan for a Secure Future – doing the careful and thoughtful planning and taking the necessary action that will result in a successful legislative session for all North Carolinians.

We have, and we will work every day to improve education, health care and our state’s economy for the men, women and children of North Carolina.
